The expected Patronal festivities of our municipality, Moraira, in honor of Nuestra Señora de los Desamparados and la Virgen del Carmen, have already begun.

We invite you to enjoy a few days of joy and lots of events, where you can have fun and get to know our traditions, our customs and, in general, our city and its important maritime heritage.

You will notice that a very important percentage of our population comes from other European countries that have chosen to settle in this beautiful corner of the Costa Blanca and share our traditions.

Last weekend, in our beautiful town surrounded by the Mediterranean sea, the Patronal festivities started with traditional music band concerts in the incomparable setting of the Moraira Yacht Club.

During the bright Saturday morning, we could also enjoy the popular swimming to the El Andragó bay.

At night we listened carefully to the speech of festivities and the presentation of the festivities of Moraira, which continued with mobile disco, where there was dance and fun for all ages.

On Sunday, we also enjoyed the theater performance of the theater group "El Portitxolet de Moraira".

You will have the opportunity to be part of an emotional atmosphere full of devotion by attending the solemn Misa Cantada that will be dedicated in the morning of July 15 and 16, Festivities of Nuestra Patrona la Virgen de los Desamparados and la Virgen del Carmen, or by participating in the solemn Processions that will take place in the afternoon.

The following days, you will have fun attending festivities with bulls in the street. Their traditional "Bous a la mar" will not leave you indifferent.

We will end our parties on Sunday 21 July. We invite you to our popular Sardinada and to taste an exquisite Paella Gigante. All accompanied by free beer and tasting of the "cazalla", a famous typical drink.

In the afternoon, to finish the festivities, you will have the opportunity to win the prize for the best costume.
